The Torrent de Biniaraix or Torrent de l’Ofre is a canyon located in the municipality of Sóller, in Mallorca. It collects the waters of the massifs of Ofre and the Serra d’Alfàbia and flows into the torrent of Sóller, which drains into the Port of Sóller. This canyon presents a good flow of water after the rains.
We are talking about one of the most beautiful and cold canyons of our island and one of the most charming places in the valley of Sóller. The road to the head of the torrent is almost all paved and climbs steeply among the olive groves, while we can observe one of the best engineering works applied to the mountain and enjoy excellent views of Sóller and the Port de Sóller.
The sporting itinerary is a small part of the canyon, but with a great slope and with splendid views of the ravine, always sunk between high walls. Here we will find a dozen waterfalls and beautiful views until the end. The descent is very technical and has abseils of great difficulty where attention should be paid to the flow of water. The morphology is spectacular and some highlights are unique, such as the Salt de Sa Figuera.
