Mon d’Aventura offers different levels and climbing courses, depending on the level and knowledge of each participant.

 
Level I initiation

Designed for anyone who wants to start climbing or wants to enter the sport. Level I consists of three one-day courses, interested parties may choose which course they want to start with depending on their level of expertise. After the third course participants who have mastered all the contents, have the knowledge necessary for climbing independently.

• Level I (Introduction to rock climbing)

Participants that have followed all Level I courses, can tak any level of the upper levels

Initiation 1 to track 70 meters long. (Price 50 € person)

• Level III (Introduction to classical or traditional climbing)

Level I Initiation 2 (second course)

Designed for anyone who wants to start climbing or wants to give it a go in a safe way. Level I consists of three courses of a day each, interested parties may choose which course they want to start with depending on their level of expertise. After the third initiation course, participants who have mastered all the contents, will have the knowledge necessary for climbing independently.

• Level I (Introduction to rock climbing) 

Initiation 2 (price € 40)

Description:Designed for those who are already familiar with the contents of the first course or have completed the Sport Climbing Leve I “initiation 1″ with us. We will review all the subjects taught in the previous course and they will be implemented. Participants will climb with greater autonomy, and they will be paired up using one rope and the correct equipment for climbing.
We will review the technique of toproping and will learn how to lead-climb with additional safety devices, emphasizing the techniques of lead climbing clipping, technical progress and belaying.
Participants will begin to use correct maneuvers to build the anchor at the belay point at the end of the route without karabiners as well as practicing abseiling from a self built anchor  from half way the route.

OBJECTIVES
Review the contents of the Initiation 1 course.
Practice lead climbing with safety measures in place.

Finish the route at the belay point using the right technique to build the anchor
Apply rappel techniques from half way.

Description:

This course was thought out for those interested in and wanting to try out this exciting sport in a safe manner. During the course, we will practice the basic maneuvers of sports climbing, go through all security methods and learn basic techniques of progress whilst toproping. During this session, in addition to getting to know the different types of climbing, we will get to know and use the basic materials, and each participant will try out routes of different levels. The students play the main part today and will be able to practice climbing whilst the instructor will check that the maneuvers are carried out correctly and safely.

Getting to know various climbing methods
Getting to know and how to use the basic materials of climbing
Learning to tie Figure 8 knots and the double version: Figure 8 Follow Through.
Secure your climbing partners with the gri-gri, ATC and dynamic knot.
Have climbed in top rope a minimum of 2 climbing routes.
Assess the current level of each participant.
Rappel with the eight.

This pretty groundfloor apartment with 1 double bedroom (+ 1 sofa bed) offers a perfect base for climbers, cyclists, couples with young children… who wish to enjoy nature on Mallorca in the low season, or the beach, which is only 200m away, in summer. Sailing is fabulous in winter and summer, the mountains offer GR routes, plenty of short and circular hikes, there’s lots to get their teeth stuck into for cyclists and quite a few sites for rock climbers with South facing routes, to get some sun in the low season! The apartment itself is tip top, recently renovated, modern and clean, heating and tv for those wetter or colder days, aircon and double glazing for the hot moments, parking next to the garden (which is fully closed off). Really pleasant, green area, close to shops and restaurants.

CANYONING

1 DAY   -    Water Canyoning tour  + Returning by Speedboat
      

Canyoning is definitely a pretty adventurous experience, where you follow the river running over rocks and waterfalls. It is a sport for everyone, with or without experience, because there are canyons on Mallorca for all levels. The activity is to cross river beds, jumping from rocks into water basins, to follow the natural water slides and waterfalls. Ropes are also sometimes used to overcome the most difficult obstacles.

Canyoning & return by speedboat! Indescribable and spectacular! The area is wild, almost deserted and we find particularly bizarre weathered rocky ridges, narrow paths, a torrent of high class with some adventurous climbing sections. Dreamlike cascade formations. The torrent ends at the sea, return along the impressive coast by speedboat… It is not necesary to be experienced, but you need a certain fitness-level.

Nivel: easy-medium (you don’t need to be experienced), we will adapt the tour to the fitness-level of the participants. Perfect tour for everybody who likes to start with canyoning or just wants to have an excellent adventure-day in the mountains and on the sea!
